Anne G. Osborn
Anne G. Osborne (born 1943), also known as Anne Osborne Poelman, is a medical doctor who works at the University of Utah, the widow of Ronald E. Poelman and the author of a book about how to apply LDS theology to life. Her textbook on neuroradiology is a definitive work on the subject. Her work ''Diagnostic Cerebral Angiography'' is also considered a definitive work. She also wrote ''Osborn's Brain: Imaging, Pathology and Anatomy''. She holds the William H. and Patricia W. Child Presidential Endowed Chair in Radiology at the University of Utah Medical Center.
==Biography==
Osborne earned her M.D. at Stanford University. There are a total of ten medical textbooks with Osborne as at least one of the credited authors. In 1977 the ''Ensign'' included an article by Osborne about being a single woman and also a member of a church that places marriage and family in order of priority just under discipleship to Jesus Christ.〔Anne G. Osborn, ("The Ecstasy of the Agony: How to Be Single and Sane at the Same Time" ), ''Ensign'', March 1977.〕 In 1989 to 1990 she worked at the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology.

For a year, covering parts of 1988 and 1989, Osborn served as president of the American Society of Neuroradiology.〔(listing of past presidents of the American Society of Neuroradiology )〕 In 1989 Osborn was the recipient of the Grubbe Memorial Award from the Chicago Radiological Society.〔(list of Grubbe Memorial Award winners )〕
In 1995 Osborn wrote ''The Simeon Solution'' which was her autobiography. Osborne was the first female president of the American Society of Neuroradiology.〔(reviewing this list would seem to indicate this based on the first names, but it does not give the sex of the people involved, so does not actually show she was first remale president )〕 Osborne was interviewed for the 2007 PBS documentary ''The Mormons''.〔("Why I Am A Mormon" theme by PBS )〕 She has served on the general board of the Sunday School of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.〔
